Ron started playing steel at age 18. Over the years he has had the honor of playing alongside and recording with many great musicians including Maurice Anderson and Jaymes Felix.

The late Dewitt Scott (Scotty) founder and CEO of the International Steel Guitar Convention has stated that Ron's playing is second to none. Scotty was always a great friend and influence on Ron's playing for many years. Scotty gave Ron opportunities to sell his albums and steel guitar software at the convention.
Ron's influence over the years have been his favorite group The Oak Ridge Boys and other great super stars with country, jazz, and pop styles. Also greatly influenced by many great steel guitarist such as Paul Franklin, Buddy Emmons, Joe Wright, Russ Hicks, Tommy Dodd, and Lloyd Green. Back up musicians on some of Ron's recordings includes Jaymes Felix who sang and played for greats such as Andrea Crouch & The Disciples and Tower Of Power. Also on Ron's Southern Gospel Album Billy Noble with the Tim McGraw's band is playing keyboard.
Ron's states that his favorite styles of music (but not limited to) is Country, Southern Gospel, Smooth Jazz, and Blues. However his playing style has no limits.
Ron Has played sets at Scotty's International Steel Guitar Convention in St. Louis MO and the South Western Steel Guitar Convention in AZ.
Recorded several gospel, country, and jazz steel guitar albums. Recorded with several local artist at local studios such as SRO Studio. Recorded for studios in Canada by adding tracks in his home studio and sending to the studio for mixing. Currently contracts through SoundBetter.com where customers can purchase customized recordings by uploading MP3 files so the artist can provide a recorded wav track for mixing.
Recorded on Lucie Marotte's 100% Country CD. Lucie Marotte is one of the only Francophone country singers to have sung at the Grand Théâtre de Québec ( Quebec City) and Théâtre St-Denis in Montreal . She sang in front of a crowd of 15,000 at the Colisée de Québec, as part of a retro promotion before a game between the Nordiques de Québec and the Montreal Canadians of the National Hockey League . In March 2013, she was awarded by the French Federation of Country and Line Dance (FFLCD - France) the Award of the country artist of the Francophonie. She has to her credit 16 CD albums, the first fifteen grouped in boxes collection of 3 CDs. There are several original creations including Vanessa , I think of you , When I'm with you and The woman of one man probably the biggest success so far.
